CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

If for any reason the student needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, it must be canceled 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Otherwise, there will be a $50 cancellation fee at the discretion of the owner and instructor. If the fee is not paid upon cancellation, Yolanda's Driving School can nullify the package agreement with or without refunding the remaining value of the package amount already paid.

The Returned Check Fee is $50.

There will be no refunds after a package has been purchased and lesson time has commenced.

The student will have 12 months from the time of receipt of payment to finish all lesson time. After which, the lesson will be considered abandoned and will no longer be honored.

Behind the Wheel Drive Time
for teens or adults
Choose a lesson plan from 1 hour to 12 hours. Lessons are typically set up in 2-hour increments.

We provide free at-home pick-up and drop-off service for students within our designated service area. For students outside of our service area, we will arrange free pick-up and drop-off at the driving school office, Pasadena DMV, or El Monte DMV at your convenience.
​
Students under the age of 18 are required by law to obtain at least 6 hours of professional instruction to be eligible to obtain a Driver's License.

DMV Drive Test Assistance
for teens or adults

One of our instructors will assist you with your DMV Behind-The-Wheel Test.
We will provide a 45-minute warm-up session on the day of your Test.
​
After your warm-up, your instructor will walk you through every step of the DMV check-in process. You will then use the same Yolanda's Driving School car that you're already familiar with to take the DMV Test.
​
After completion of the DMV Drive Test, your instructor can go over the test results with you and answer any questions you may have.

​The first 2 ½ hours of the DMV Test process is at the standard rate listed. Every half hour after will accrue a $45 fee.
The following list of DMVs is within our service area and may include a Distance Fee as shown. Fees will be collected at the time of the DMV Test.
1-Hour Freeway Lesson
for teens or adults
$150
Your instructor will go over everything you will need to utilize the extensive Los Angeles freeway system.
​
This includes lessons on entering and exiting freeways, lane usage, junctions and signs, HOV lanes and expressways, defensive driving, and tips and unwritten rules of the road.
​

1½-Hour Senior Evaluation
for seniors
$150
This session is recommended if you are unsure if you will pass a DMV Behind-The-Wheel Test. We can give a refresher course to help increase your safety habits and awareness techniques.​

This is required in California if there are indications of driver impairment based on a report by a law enforcement officer, a physician, or a family member.
